“OVERGROWN” — Riley Dove

Overgrown is a three piece abstract painting exploring the way nature slowly takes over the spaces around it. Layers of black, gray, and green move across the surface like moss, vines, and vegetation reclaiming what was once controlled.

The rough brushwork, dripping paint, and imperfect edges give each piece an organic, weathered feeling. While every canvas stands on its own, together the three works form one continuous environment somewhere between a man made structure and a landscape being consumed by nature.
